I need some good food recipes do you know any?

I need to learn how to make food. I lack be domestic. Any how if you have a good food recipe share it with me. It can be a dessert main dish breakfast dinner side dish anything. I’ll even attempt to cook it. Oh and it can be from any nationality as well. Italian Greek Greman Irish American so on so forth…..

He’s a little of everything, from my American Grandmother, my Ecuadorian husband and a couple faves from foodnetwork.com.

Paula Deen’s Chicken-n-Dumplings

1 whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces
3 ribs celery, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 can cream of celery or cream of chicken soup
a little salt, pepper and garlic powder
Dumplings:
1 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbs. shortening
3/4 cup milk
Directions
To start the chicken: Place the chicken, celery, onion, , bouillon, and seasoning in a large pot. Add 4 quarts of water and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Simmer the chicken until it is tender and the thigh juices run clear, about 40 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pot and, when it is cool enough to handle, remove the skin and separate the meat from the bones. Return the chicken to the pot, add cream of celery soup and bring back to a low boil. Prepare the dumplings, drop into hot boiling soup. cook until dumplings float.

Dutch Apple Pie

approx. 7 tart apples (5 cups)
1/2 cup & 1/3 cup sugar
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 all purpose flour
6 Tbs. butter

pare, core and cut apples into eights, arrange in pie shell.
mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon , sprinkle over apples.
mix 1/3 cup sugar with flour, cut in butter until crumbly, sprinkle over apples.
bake at 400 for 35-40min. or until done.

**if pie browns too quickly, cover with foil.

Seco

Mix in Blender:

1 onion
1 green pepper
1 tomato
handful of Cilantro
2 Tbs. veg. oil
1 can beer
1Tbs vinegar
1 pk. Sazon
1 Tbs. cumin
1 Tbs. Aji Peruano

Pour mixture over 12 pieces of chicken and cook on medium heat until done.

Serve over yellow rice.

Texas Sheet Cake

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 sticks butter
4 Tbs cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

mix sugar, flour and soda together, set aside.
melt together butter, cocoa and water, bring to boil then pour over dry ingredients. add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.
Bake on large sheet pan (17 x 11)…greased and floured. at 350 for 20-30 min.

Frosting

1 stick oleo
4 Tbs butter
4 Tbs cocoa
6 Tbs buttermilk

1 box powdered sugar
1tsp vanilla
2 cups chopped walnuts

bring first 4 ingredients to boil, add other 3 ingredients. spread on cake while cake and frosting are both still hot.

Rachael Ray’s Shepherd’s Pie

Ingredients
2 pounds potatoes , such as russet, peeled and cubed
2 tablespoons sour cream or softened cream cheese
1 large egg yolk
1/2 cup cream, for a lighter version substitute vegetable or chicken broth
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil , 1 turn of the pan
1 3/4 pounds ground beef or ground lamb
1 carrot, peeled and chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup beef stock or broth
2 teaspoons Worcestershire, eyeball it
1/2 cup frozen peas, a couple of handfuls
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
Directions
Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 12 minutes. Drain potatoes and pour them into a bowl. Combine sour cream, egg yolk and cream. Add the cream mixture into potatoes and mash until potatoes are almost smooth.
While potatoes boil, preheat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add oil to hot pan with beef or lamb. Season meat with salt and pepper. Brown and crumble meat for 3 or 4 minutes. If you are using lamb and the pan is fatty, spoon away some of the drippings. Add chopped carrot and onion to the meat. Cook veggies with meat 5 minutes, stirring frequently. In a second small skillet over medium heat cook butter and flour together 2 minutes. Whisk in broth and Worcestershire sauce. Thicken gravy 1 minute. Add gravy to meat and vegetables. Stir in peas.
Preheat broiler to high. Fill a small rectangular casserole with meat and vegetable mixture. Spoon potatoes over meat evenly. Top potatoes with paprika and broil 6 to 8 inches from the heat until potatoes are evenly browned. Top casserole dish with chopped parsley and serve.
