What kind of bread should I get for my bruschetta?

Hi,
I’m making bruschetta for my family since we all really liked the bruschetta from a little hole in the wall italian restaurant around my area. I was wondering what type of bread is best? The recipe I found says day old country bread…? Preferably something I can just get from the grocery stores ( wal-mart, publix, winn-dixie)
